OFF-WHITE Is Launching an Affordable Collection “For All” Budgets

Great news for everybody who loves fashion!! OFF-WHITE has just launched a more "budget-friendly" capsule collection titled “For All.” OFF-WHITE is my favourite 2017 brand and I tried to collect as many items as possible and let me tell you, they're anything but "Affordable". Maybe this range is affordable in terms of rich folk standard. Anyway, the new unisex range is available and will be present at all OFF-WHITE stores globally including New York, Hong Kong, and Sydney (lol South Africa ain't gettin shit).

The new "For All" brand includes eight pieces: four hoodies and four graphic T-shirts (wow), each embellished with the brand’s signature black and white stripes and quotations. Hoodies are priced at $170 (that's a whole R2116.00) and Tees at $95 (R1182.95 Thixo). For us common folk, this is not by any means affordable, but hey, we do it for the culture.

However, considering some of OFF-WHITE’s current pieces retail from $300 up to a whopping $800, “For All” could represent a new entry point into the luxury market for millennial shoppers (lol millennials still can't afford these).

OFF-WHITE founder and one of my favourite people, Virgil Abloh, justifies the label's new offering, saying: “The price tier allows for a new customer to see themselves within the overall concept of the fashion label. OFF-WHITE can be luxury at a traditional luxury price point, or equally, it can be relevant at an affordable price point.” Abloh continued that he plans to release these collections “periodically.”

Yo Virgil is crazy though! The man is constantly innovating and is single handedly changing the landscape for street wear and couture.

Abloh's next move in the affordability market is the anticipated release of his collaboration with IKEA. Though details on the team-up remain fairly scarce, Abloh said during a livestream from the IKEA prototype shop in Älmhult last October that prospective collectors should expand a wide-ranging assortment of pieces. The goal, Abloh said, is to create "new solutions for a millennial's first home." Abloh x IKEA is expected to drop in 2019.
